revo file cannot be modified....
you need flash frf , make custom tune and then add pops and bangs.

Have you seen a MED17 Revo file already?

They tune with their own unique coding.

In MED17 revo mapped cars normally i just delete DTCīs and keep the ecu tuned file.

If i can do that it means that most likely itīs possible to add the pa pa pa pa pa pa pa pa file!

You will need to read the ecu and have the corresponding original file for it, after that just do a boot backup to be safe and flash it by OBD.

Pops and bangs with bigjay88 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/member.php/532651-bigjay88) contribution to the forum just ainīt gonna happen..

Itīs rather complex because obviasly i (and the rest of the world) donīt understand their code, and itīs rather impressive to watch what is made..

But making some modifications works (cat off, dtcīs off, rpm limiter increase to allow DSG proper tuning for example).

Had some issues on EDC15 and ME7.5 not in MED9 but i know some guys that did.

When apr, revo or similar always safety reading first!

I have tried to read it, KESS said ECU is protected.

I thought about going to bench, one of my colleagues told me even on bench you can not read.

kess did not even accept to read ID.

i did modified a revo EDC15 once, no issues, but MED 17 this was my first and could not carry on.

yes it is MED 17.5.21 mate

I had another APR tuned car, same thing happened, KESS did not read even ID.

will boot mode break their encryption or it is the same like OBD ?

Dump APR tuning MED17.5 can be read through boot-mode on table.
Then write another dump to the block. Everything will work.
If you write dump APR again to block, it will also work.
If APR dump is written to ecu of another car by OBDII connector, it will work,
but multi-mode RON90, RON95 and RON98 through "cruise" button will turn off.
In this case, a correction is required.
