View Full Version : EDC17CP4x with Ktag GPT cable

Hi all,

I have an question, im looking to map my dad's car
He has an BMW with EDC17CP45 Ecu
Now i'm looking with my Ktag (Eu clone) to search the protocol to do it with GPT cable, but it only supports EDC17C50 with GPT.
Somebody has the wiring diagram for the direct connection with GPT calble and wich protocol i best use?
I will do the milling with my cnc machine and put fine thread in it to add on goretex breading plug

Ok protocol to use i allready found P667 and P666 for 41
Just need connections for direct with GPT

Thats Just the problem no instructions availble for cp45 and c41 with gpt cable. Can any one send them?

Thx man, is this the same for EDC17CP45 and EDC17C41 with boot pin on the back?

use genuine Kess by obd, no need open

I have brick one ecu with kess, I write back with esys.

I use like Voltech say, i buyed Kess Genuine and now do ALL F-Series and ALL VAG obd read/write. No risks..

i do several f-serie and edc17 with Kess and any problem so i think you dont read what Alien write in manual to this controler.

i have 7.20 ktag clone. but for protocol 666 and 667 i don't have this type of connection.
do you say it is safe to use gpt cable and connect 2 wire in plug and make only one hole in ecu for boot and use protocol 666or667 to read and write edc17c41/45?
i have ksuite2.23.
i ask this because i use till now the connection from ksuite with 2 gpt on bord. like ksuite says.(all time open both side of ecu)
I found a tool from magic and want to buy it but i need to be 100% sure this type of connection works(with gpt cable)
