Hi!

this is about Component Protection on AUDI A8 D3 my2006
old webasto stoped working - customer bought second hand unit and now Component Protection is ON

I need advice from You - is it possible to clone old data to new(second hand)unit?
if yes - what to read - MCU or eeprom?

Dont raise time,if you no have tool for protection remuve.
No guaranty after this manipulation its work correct.Webasto ecu very spetsific modul.Better go diller and pay same Eur. job done and you/costumer time safe.

BTW.
same time I did succesfull clonning of AUDI Q5 BCM module content on to second hand unit -"NEW" BCM works OK!! - just buy same part number module and write MCU's eeprom content from orginal BCM to "NEW" BCM and DONE!
