Hi All,

I have bought a BDM100 (Dimsport 555) Unit and I have removed and wired it as per this Youtube Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f77O9c7u6WA

Unfortunately I am getting the following error, Its plugged into a desktop PSU set to 14.1v and will deliver upto 5amps



MPC500 Family Version: 0x00020020
MPC561/2 Part Number: 0x35200000
Flash Not Identified
Power error or communication error (E14)



Can anybody give me some advice??

Why you use antique dimsport?
Use 1255

Because I saw online that it would work it was cheap and available very quickly.

1255 software work with all china clones.

Thanks Vasily.U Unfortunately that software doesn't work either :(

Is it possible to have the ECU connected to the car and still read it with the clone?

It's soft work good with all clones. Files 1.exe and 2.exe it's firmware for bdm100. One of them for bdm other for obd. You need for bdm. I don't remember 1 or 2))). I many times using bdm100 on car without problem.

If you get Bdm Pins wrong way round you Brick this ECU so be very carefull you have correct wired ok

You are absolutely right. A few years ago i was bricked one of sid803.

I tried using the 1 & 2 the other way around and its working!! thank you so much guys!!
