I have never had my ears pierced. My 20 year old son has huge fake diamonds in both ears like Beckham, which I personally think look ridiculous. My gym training partner is 45, has just had one put in! I can't look at him straight at the moment. However, I have been asking myself the same question though about my nipple ring. I am 44, its been there for 20 years, is it still "trendy", perhaps the best advice is to ask your wife.

I got my right nipple done, imho its never been "trendy" ive only ever seen wierdos and gay men with em... i fall into the former.

In my defence though it was the lesser of two evils, it was a buy one get one free couples deal and i had the option of being attacked with needles in two different parts of my anatomy... the nipple won.
The pain endured was enough incentive to never touch it, its never been swapped out in over a decade.

The only reason ive never bothered to remove it is because A) i dunno how, the ball thing rotates forever without unscrewing so i think i'll need boltcutters...
B) its largely invisable.
C)its awesome for preventing the dreaded "joggers nipple" my nipps used to get rubbed raw, not so any longer so it seems to serve some kind of purpose.

Never had my ear done though because i dont dig any amount of cock up my ass.
And dont give me the "But Beckham has one" argument.
Victoria is nothing more than an elaborate "beard." Face it the guy uses face creams for christs sake and actualy spends sizable money on hair care.

Pierced ears on a man are akin to "slapper tag" jewlery on a woman, if someone has to wear "chantelle" on their neck it can only mean they're open to taking it from any angle.

I think i might take em out, start smoking a pipe and buy some of those fluffy ankle slippers with the zip up the side.

Hi Chroma, re:-"Pierced ears on a man are akin to "slapper tag" jewlery on a woman, if someone has to wear "chantelle" on their neck it can only mean they're open to taking it from any angle. "
In fairness to my son, his girlfriend is actually called Chantelle, and as far as I can tell, you are perfectly correct with your observation.

BE A MAN! get a stupidly uneconomical sportscar that run to the Gallons per mile rather than miles per gallon ratio of sane cars.

Or go the zap route and get a crotch rocket and don your leather gear.

An earing will attract a man, a Bugatti Vayron will attract EVERYONE! lol

pmsl @ zap. of course all women are not the same in the same way neither are all men. ive always been an individual - married or not. if i wanted something and it was reasonable i got it - i worked for it - same for him (if he works for it) . we always have our own identities - however if YOU (being any individual) choose to give that up then that is your choice. you have your own mind - use it. dont blame the women for decisions you are not man enough to make yourself etc. im my boyfriend wanted to wear some ridiculous clothes he could but i would tell him how ridiculous he looked. in the same way if i considered wearing a "pointed bra" or something equally ridiculous id expect him to tell me. (this is just an example - i do not have a supply of these lol)

Hmm i have to say i dont agree, then all men would be the same and they're not.

Sure they are, we're all assholes, we just vary in degrees of hiding it.

The only part of Zaps post i can dissagree with is his failure to point out the drawer!
I can remember moving in from my batchelour pad, and having to litteraly burn anything that wouldnt fit into my "drawer."
If your seriously lucky you might get assigned "a cupboard."
Then you get to have kids, pray every day that they'll either die on the way to school or grow up instantly and move out, just so you can upgrade yourself to "a room." where you can live in some semblance of normality, somewhere that doesnt feel so "Stepford"

Hanging something on a wall that wasnt specificaly hers was like the Rowandan Genocide.
I can remember bringing a lamp and putting it in the sitting room, holy shit was that a mistake.
She came home from work and i thought the Germans where invading or something. So yeah everything a guy has is ludicrously stupid... unless it can fit in his drawer... even then its stupid but its out of sight.

I've shacked up with a few different chicks and all data suggests theyre complete sociopaths. Its exactly the same story every time.
Psycho to the point where i got to find it hillarious to move some cheesy ornament by a few degrees and watch the left eye twitch and the forehead sweat as she desperately attempted to fathom what was wrong with the setting.

Its only women who go apeshit if some trinket becomes missaligned to the "fung shui" or some other bullshit mysticysm.

Its been my experience that all women ive been in contact with are genuinely morons. Its pointless to even begin to dissagree here, i mean come on THEY SLEPT WITH ME for christs sake, that just shows a complete lack of judgment to begin with!
Women are inane, banal and petty.
Neither I nor the beer cares whither theres a coaster or dear god a DOYLIE under it, ive placed ice cold beer on a table ever so timmidly and you know what? the world didnt god damned end! I was seriously dissapointed by that.

Todays sleep deprived rant was brought to you by the element IRON (Fe)

sorry chroma i forgot about the drawer, still have one now and its my place here. but i still have to stop myself from putting the toilet seat down, and now as a rebel i leave it up godamnit!!
does this ring a bell, "hmm do you really think you need that its your choice of course but i dont think its a good idea personally" this is the stock answer when you want something or the classic "dont you think your a bit old to be buying that but ok if you want to look like an idiot go ahead" but when they want something its essential, 200 pairs of shoes are essential. my last wife had a cupboard built the full length of the house just for clothes and shoes, but it was all essential, not like my clothes they were in the ~~~~in drawer with the rest of my shit!!!

And i hate ornaments pmsl

lol @ eva. i have a few more pairs than that but my b/f has much more wardrobe space than me.

I lived out of a few kit bags for several months because space wasnt important... It was overrun with shoes and handbags.

What i really dont miss is the "dont you dare touch my "whatever" (be it as mundane as a toilet, car, anything) and then suddenly when it gets screwed up its "your whatever is broke, go fix it."

Got to the point i didnt even argue anymore because even when your right your so very very wrong.

Clothes shopping was a nightmare for the "dont you thinks."
My categories are as thus:
Weatherproof.
Thermaly efficient.
Durability (if it lasts me 4 decades then thats 4 decades i dont need to go through the headache of clothes shopping)

That doesnt look good on you...
AND? its warm, dry and it will last till i get cremated in it, who cares if its a one piece elvis suit, if it fits the criteria i could care less.

The same with toiletries :( i own swarfega, it works as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, shaving gel, pot scourer, grout cleaner, oven cleaner, washing detergent. I've yet to find something swarfega wont take care of. I dont need an entire chemistry set on the windowsill and 4hrs of "lab time" to get dressed. A handfull of swarfega and a bucket of water and im all set. Swarfega, beans and bacon are all a man needs to survive. Add beans and or bacon to anything and its magicaly edible.

Then you get complaints of running out of space despite the "soft furnishing invasion" pillows, throws and curtains seemed to breed in my household, id go to bed and wake up and there would be more of the ****ing things.

I had a piano (called Elton) i came home one day to find him SANDED! all my beer stains and cigarette burns had been manhandled away, then painted a glossy black :dontknow:
The next day once the paint had dried she decided to hang a mirror over it then install the doylies, candleholders, and makeup paraphenelia.

Whenever you played it you could hear old Elton screaming in time to the rattle of junk skittering all over the place. Elton it seemed had reached his gay phase :(
My beloved piano, you know the one with character that looked used, warm, inviting and fun to play now looked like a god damned ornament, the same shit you find in posers houses who just like to look at stuff but never actualy learned to play it.

Guys get a bum deal man, then reffered to as immature and infantile if we dare fail to tow the line.

Just cos your partner was/is like that doesn't mean we are all tarred with the same brush.

I don't do ornaments, my fridge is full of beer and wine and he wears what he likes. And yes i have coasters, because i don't want marks on my coffee table, but no doilies. I hate shopping and only go buying new clothes when i have to lol. Maybe i'm really a bloke ...................:dontknow:

Plural, most of these have all been different people.
Women are bizarre, its been one string of disasters after another. Im just going by the rationale that if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then its probably a duck.

Ive also found it to be true that theres "Attractive," "Single" and "Mentaly Stable" and you only get a choice of two lol

Mmmmmhhh, quite a discussion going on here, not bad for starting out with earings.

1 stud when I was a young teen then wore it on and of for years. Got married but never got a ring (any ring I wore managed to get damaged through work) so was given the stud I wear now.

As for the rest of the stuff all the clothes I own fit in 5 drawers all of hers in roughly the same (if she would ever put them in the same place ) and the kids rule the roost.......yeah, right!

Apart from my dear darling never being wrong we get on great. We both hate shopping, using the phone and love fun (despite the kids calling me Mr. Grumpy all the time). Oh aye and a bloody good drink goes down well too

I dress the same way now that I always did, middle of the road and also losing my hair. My wife doesn't have to put up with that...she is just going grey/white :D

but i did find a lot of YouTube - Milton singing "The Man Song" by Sean Morey relevant to my relationship though...what was that sweetheart...:help::giveup:

lol

(Did any of this post have anything to do with the subject matter???)
