Right - i'm running Blade Quad 1x on a Sagem DBox2 (flashed okay)
Computer IP: 213.106.193.212
Router IP: 192.168.1.1 (found on a web site)

with DBox connected to the TV i went into Settings -> Network
and chaged the following
ip address to 213.106.193.213
default gateway to 192.168.1.1
dns server to 213.106.193.212

Then i connected dbox via ethernet cable to my router and turned it on

Ran Flash FXP
Try to connect to dbox by entering
IP: 212.106.193.213
Port: 21
User: root
Password: ive tried dbox and dbox2

and it wont connect so i can't transfer keys etc... :(

:shot: feeling helpless

Any ideas?

DNS server should be set to 192.168.1.1, this should be the same as your gateway. Give that a go, should be ok

personally i switch bsck to dynamic let your pc find its own address within the range of ur router....likely to be 192.168.1.2 or 102 then set ur dbox settings.....

using vista so wasn't that stright forward but found what i believe to be the right bit and there are two diff ones - both already set to auto obtain IP

based on the info above what settings do you suggest i try in the dbox?
give it an IP one away from my PC IP? e.g 192.168.1.102?

Right click on your pc nic choose properties then configure tab then advanced and set flow control, duplex or media type (could be called something else also) to 10baseT_halfduplex or 10half mode

if ur happy with ur img just overwrite if u have the latest k*ey folder....save ur bouquet and service files found in ur var/tuxbox/config/zapit folder if u have scanned and sorted ur channels. if u have these files u can transfer them to any new img save u having to rescan and resort channels....

Hi, i'm having a similair problem to hendinho (been trying all day grrr).:hmmmm:
I'm using FlashFXP and have tryed so many different combinations for the IP address i am muddled up.
I have a wireless internet connection and a normal network card - which the dbox is plugged into.
When i do ipconfig/all, i get this 192.168.2.2, default gateway and dns server 192.168.2.1, so i was just wandering if anyone can clarify what i enter in the debox settings. Also do i just leave the dbox on when i'm attempting to connect or do i need to keep unplugging etc?
Any help would be muchos appreciated

leave box on and crossover cable connected to box and pc
Press dbox, settings, network and see what the ip is then on your pc go to control panel, network connections right click on local are connection and pick properties click configure tab then look for flow control, duplex mode, media type it will be called one of those or something simular and set it to 10baseT_halfduplex or half mode then click ok you will then have to right click on local area connection again then hi lite internet protocol tcp/ip and click properties and give it a static ip one below the boxes ip subnet mask 255.255.255.0 click ok to close then finally right click on your wireless connection and disable it
example box if the boxes ip is 192.168.1.202 pc should be ip 192.168.1.201
there is a guide for flashfxp in the downloads aswell
once you have finished ftp'ing the box you will have to enable your wireless network to get on the net

thanks for the reply mate, I've sorted it by plugging it into my router with an ethernet cable and instant sucess! however can only get free to air channels, i've tried changing my location and just leaving it on sky sports but no luck.
I've installed the blade quad image, do i need to add keys or boquets or whatever?

Not to sure if it has check in var/keys for nagrarom7 also check that evocamd is selected in the dbox menu or the blue button menu somewhere
EDIT read this
