Hello dear members of this fine forum!
Back in the days, when i first got my Lupo 3L, i had it remapped by some local "3L specialist" (At least what i thought back at that time). This resulted in a just slight increase of power, and no better fuel economy. So that was when i started learning about remapping myself. Unfortunately, i found out the hard way, that my EDC15P+ now had been locked and i could'nt acces it anymore. That cost me a new ECU, which i now am forced to have IMMO OFF on, due to the fact that i can't establish connection with this ECU anymore (At least for now).
However i noticed one thing; he had also changed the component coding (See picture attached) when accessed in VCDS, and this got me thinking: How can this be done? Can somebody maybe explain that? I can't seem to find any info on this somewhere.
Also, if someone has an idea to get the EEPROM data of the ECU without having to desolder the 8 pin chip, i would be really grateful too. Else, i am planning to boot it, once my MPPS arrives by the mail man.
Have a nice day all, and thanks in advance!
