View Full Version : Kess V2 clone could be update to read by obd the edc17 from vag?? help.

Hello all,

i try to read the vag (seat leon 1.6 tdi 110hp from 2016)

ecu edc17cp64 and it not appear on the kess program, could i update my kess to do it??

and the ecu edc17c57 from my Kia Carens from 2016 too.

I have the 4036 2.23 could it be upgrade do i rework in there??

NXP is locked u need new blank one and Sd card. but i d wait for new kess clone

You can not read edc17c64 with clone, only virtual with geniune kess. You can only write new vag.
I do today only write edc17c64 with kess 5.017 clone i have also geniune and virtual download original file and test how its working.

Or open ecu and read full tricore with ktag

Opening ecu, its more dangerous, and The car still have garanti and dealer could say something if the is some problem.

If you read with ktag or ktm100 you can recover this.

The Best and Safest way is -> Read with KTAG and you have FULL backup
After that you can do what you will.
You can recover you ECU with KTAG everytime ;-)

Sorry for hijacking the subject. I have kess eu clone and i used it for tricore reading and obd writing without failure. Can someone tell me what's the difference between kess tricore and k-tag readout? I don't have k-tag yet, but i was studying k-tag diagrams and they are pretty much the same as those for kess. Thanks!
