Hi,

can someone please help with this 2006 BMR Passat.

I need DPF off and there are two DTC-s stored: P2202 - Particulate Trap Efficiency Below Threshold P145D - Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 Circuit Short circuit to B+

I got two files from someone who makes DPF removal service.
The first file has the P145D and DPF light is on.
The second file has no DTC but the Dash light for DPF is on and the MFD has DPF alert message.

I enclose the 3 files.

If some one can solve all the problems please let me know.

Hi IgnasVW,

unfortunately it is the same: DPF light is on and message on the MFD.
I tried to return the org and make a soot reset an flash again: same result.
Maybe till the EGT sensor is broken will not work?

Did the engine/dpf ligth went off after reset?

If not i can tell you that some cars are stuck in regen.

So untill you do the egen and the ligth goes off they never stay good.

Hi SpecZ,

I think you are right, I tried with two tools: Autocom and Launch to reset the DPF but not succeeded.
The problem is that there is a damaged EGT sensor N.o 3 and not sure will regen...

You need also to reset the pressure sensor.

Good question.. it could depend on the frequency of the fault.

You should try, takes you abut 20m to do so.

Regen takes a bit, even on the road as that car does not heat up much.

M experience: On the road let it drop to 18/20% at least, stop the car give it WOT for a few seconds, ignition off and start it, should be clear.

After that have the file ready to load.

Good luck!

after writing the dpf off file, drive the car 10-20 km
