Just wondering how some of you people are monitoring your C/S shares and servers. I have tried using CCCam Control centre 1.5 but that fails with an error about the cam not running on the box. I downloaded CCCcam Info.ph .86 yesterday and was trying to use that but I kept getting 'an unable to conect error. If someone is using the latter could they please tell me where I might be going wrong? @DF if this post is inappropriate please feel free to edit or delete as you see fit.

I was having trouble connecting with webinfo so I reflashed my Dm500S , re-installed my CCCam 2.0.9 cam and config file after posting the new thread . I have just tried the CCCam info.php and it has logged on me on perfectly now so can only assume a corrupt CCCam config file was causing the problem.

For example
If your CCcam server is : local IP 192.168.0.6
And you have enabeled this lines in your CCcam.cfg
WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 18011
WEBINFO USERNAME : login
WEBINFO PASSWORD : gimper400

Then your line in config.php will be configured like this?..

$CCCamWebInfo[] = array("192.168.0.6","18011","login","gimper400"); //

Does the webinfo port need to be forwarded on the router?

Does the webinfo port need to be forwarded on the router?
depends very much on your router settings i found on some netgears with old firmware for some reason i have to open the webinfo port but ususally you should not

Is this connected to cccam info which has to be FTPed to the Dreambox via PC and manually installed?
I have done this and working excellently.
It gives server details at any given time on the press of the yellow button on the DM.
