Hi, I read map from my Audi A4 1.8 TFSI 160HP 2009 ME 17.5 using KESS v2 and the file size was 1.46MB.

I tried a file service and the file they sent was only 256KB. Is this because they use a different reader (maybe mpps or dimsport)?

I saw other file service having 2mb file.

Will I be able to flash the 256KB file using KESS v2 successfully? If not how do I merge this file into my original file?

I attach both files here

Thank you. I also tried to make correct size file myself by combining the parts of the file with hex editor inside of the FFFF region. Is that the correct way? Sorry I am trying to learn.

Yes. Open your file at pos 40000 and write your tuned 256kb file in.

it seems that your "original" file is already tuned, some limiters are higher than the tuned file

Yes when I tried to merge the maps I just noticed that.

Can I ask what are the 2 maps changed?

One of them (5CE90) seem to be a load/rpm based torque limiter? What do the values stand for?

The other map (5D114) is some kind of load/rpm injector map?
