I need help to immo off bmw e46 328i using MS42 ecu,i need a tried and tested solution,this car is very far from here.
I have attached ecu dump from 29f400.

unfortunatly the last emulator i have keeps giving me an error "no echo from k line" when i try to program ISN into it.

in this system is transponder coil problem, i used old key which sometimes not run and immo fail, so i dismounting coil, improved pins, take out transponder from key and glued to coil, coil glued under steering column and always engine started. no immo problem again.. You cannot be surprised that k-line blocked because emulator sending his own data. such emulator.. but maybe someone had off solution, when I repaired my case, nobody helped..

hello, I kind of managed to shoot the solution on ms42 CarLabImmo . but I have everything in the photo and they take up a lot of weight. You may have to rewrite the dump by looking at the pictures. If it's still real, then in 3 days I'll try to attach the photo to my inbox at home

This is not a tun file.
Your files have ews disabled.
It is normal that the car starts when ews is connected. After disconnecting ews, you need to connect two thick pins in the ews cube

The customer has disconnected the EWS connector. I'm not sure how, but he bypassed the starter motor. The starter motor runs freely, but he says the car doesn't start. However, when the EWS is connected, the car starts normally again. What you mean by bridging the two thick wires in the EWS connector is likely only meant for the starter motor, right? Otherwise, it wouldn’t crank, correct or it is also for other things ?
In my case, the engine does crank ( EWS disconnected,) but it doesn't start...

Very strange situation... the software has been modified correctly, but without the EWS, the engine won't start ( well crank with bypassed ews) . Maybe I didn't calculate the checksum correctly. Can someone check if it's correct?

And what's also strange is that the software has been modified ,EWS are removed , but the car still starts with the EWS connected and original keys

You're right, I also mentioned it to the customer yesterday. I can't find any other explanation either. Changes aren't being written to the ECU, which is why the customer will write it first, then read it again and compare. He writes and reads with a Byteshooter. I'm not sure if he's doing it in Bootmode or via OBD, but I'll ask him about that too.
Maybe it would be better for him to use an external programmer to read and write.

I see that in the v3 version, you filled some addresses with FF. Is this for the ISN? Did you remove the ISN?
I see pass is same :calm: need I to correct checksum ?
