can anyone help i am trying to find the ip address for my box if i go expert setup-comms setup i get 10.0.0.97 but i cannot get any connection on ftp on this number any help would be appreciated

whats your pc ip ? 1f your pc ip is something like 192.168.1.44 then change you box ip to 192.168.1.42 the first 3 blocks of numbers must corasponce

many thanks bobbybrit have now got a ip192.168.0.24 but it still will not connect with flash fxp. if this goes on it might be the nearest bin

If your trying to flash the unit, just use Dreamup and null modem cable.

hi if your db is set at 192.168.0.24 then pc at 192.168.0.22 default gateway set to 192.168.0.2.hope thi helps

HI,bonesy,
thanks for your help i have now loaded a dw image that a member sent me with null modem cable, it was supposed to have keys on already but i now have all free channels epg but noyhing else can i get keys and load them without losing what i already have as its taken me two days to get this far good job i am retired.

hi just download the magic files put them in var/keys and scce in var/scce chmod to 755 go to ssp1 and reboot box.hope this helps
