HI guys, I was just trying to learn a key to a 2002 Peugeot 307 & I couldn't get the pin with AVDI. This car has a Valeo BSI & siemens ECU & it was unsuccessful. I was planning on pulling the BSI & reading it with orange, but thought it was a lot of effort just to add a key & am trying with a dealer now first.

My question, is does anyone know if the little green pin reader from obdstar would read it?

And also, does anyone know if PIN is accessible in Peugeot service box?......I had a look through & couldn't find the pin there, but thought someone might know if its in there somewhere, if so where do I find it?

Thank you!

any chance you know which is easiest? I was concerned about the BSI as the are frragile & dont like being powered up & down, my info tells me there is a 9s12 inside it.........would the engine ECU be easier if so , do you know whats in there?

BSI is with HC912 MCU mask 3K91D, half hour job to remove and read.
ECU must be SID801 if engine is 2.0HDI, again half hour job to remove open and read.

thanks guys, the customer is trying to get the pin from the dealer & if not I'll open the ECU, I think thats preferable to the BSI......is it just an eeprom in the ECU or an MCU?
