Hi, Im trying to open this EDC17CP09 ( BMW X5 35D USA version), but I don't have the right damos for it. Is there anyone who can share damos that will work with this dump? Im willing to pay. Thank you

It would be a miracle if someone had a damos file that fits like a glove your original file.

I would search for another BMW edc17CP09 damos and find related maps in your original by looking patterns around them that match that damos.

Can you share the info how to open it and what to use. The goal is to remove DPF, EGR, SCR and then slowly to tune it. Thank you

all maps are messed up once I load the file in Winols

Create two different projects, one for the damos, and one for your original, find in the damos project the maps you need, and then try to "hex find" or "2d curves find" in your original's HexDump. All within WinOLS.

Sorry but you (Morgano) seems to be knowledgeable in this, so you saying that stock EDC17CP09 files from different cars will have different structure inside? So, there will be no damos that will fit EDC17CP09 unless someon correct it to a specific car/model (ex BMW X5 35D)?

Yes, mostly. Same ecu inside same car brand have same structure, but different offsets for the maps between different sw versions for the same hw.

If same ecu used in different brand car sw logic differs and so structure.

Be happy if you find a damos for your target car with same hw and solve the offsets thing your own way to match it.

Hello again, i have a question to Morgano or anybody who can clarify this!
Ive compared Original Poster file to a few of mine (extracted from ECU's myself) in WinOls and this OP file, suppose to be from 2012 X5 35D is 68% similar to my tuned 09 E90 335D and buddy's tuned 09 E70 35D but my 2010 X5 absolutely STOCK 35D file is very VERY different! Would internal structure change alot if the SW version of file is different? And if i upgrade my stock 2010 ECU to a 550612 it will also be 68% identical!?
