Vag ME7.5.10 starnge problem

i have a 1.6 petrol with the me 7.5.10 ecu , the cat was removed and the flash was read in boot mode , removed the sensor with volta software , write the flash back to the ecu , took a reading again to compare the written file is the same , 100% match , put ecu into car and fired it up , engine running smooth and nice response , scan fault s and cleared it , switch ignition off , after i switch it on , no EPC light ,nothing no coms to ecu , so why could i read the ecu on the bench after flashing it without a problem , why did it start in the car also no problem , but it died after clearing faults ?
i write the original flash back and it lives again , tried again with moded file , same story only one start ?

Btw. Volta isn't good softwareI will upload later thanx , I know Volta is no really good , I just gave it a shot , Volta is good for Iveco immo remove and marelli vag virgin , so that's why I tried that , but still why will the car start once and after faults clear it is dead
