Its my own car C3 Picasso 2014 1.6 Petrol Automatic - was 5600 miles on the dash

After water ingress in the ECU - ECU stopped communicating with BSI - 9666952380 X05

Starter can't turn over and shifts don't appear on the dash

I bought Lexia and check showed me U1108 and U0404

I found the same ECU 0261S07906 MEV 17_4_2 but with different BSI 9666952280 X04 from DS 1.6 automatic + key

When I put them - car starts and drives but doesn't work properly - shifts don't appear on the dash and fan works continuously - dash shows 12436 miles

When I use my BSI with new ECU - shifts appear on the dash but car can't start because immo code is different on ECU - dash show 12436 miles that are stored from the new BSI that I connected before

What is better to do now :

- virginase the new ECU and add to my BSI - What tools must I use?

or

- Try to read my old ECU and rewrite on the new ECU - What tool must I use?

also I want to back mileage again to 5600 on the dash - can I do this over OBD or must I open the dash - what tool must I use?


I already bought some tools but never used them - are they suitable for this job or must I buy other
