1997 Toyota land cruiser 4.2diesel turbo 80 series

Hello Everybody.
I am working on the above vehicle.There is a problem on the auto transmission.It has a 23 pin diagnostic connector in the engine bay.I want to know how to access the trouble codes for the transmission .I know if i bridge out terminals Tt and E1 the o/d light should flash inside the dash.I also need a trouble code chart for this(auto transmission)

seem to think you can acces the wiring for the 3 solenoid, under the box and get 3 leds (with 1 k reistor) and make your own "starship control panel" and 'see' the solnoid being pulsed (or not)
