Evening,
Mitsubishi Colt 2008.
Can a used remote be reprogrammed into another vehicle ?
The key in question is the round headed one with 2 buttons, looks like the smart car key.

Many thanks.

No it cannot be reprogrammed once locked and no device on market unlock this remote unfortunately. But I heard some guy from USA can renew this remote to be programmed to different car.

But good thing is, remote generated on KD (Keydiy) work on this car.

Thanks.
I did look on KD but did not see it under Mitsubishi or Old No Zone.
Do you have reference number of the item please.

Hallo

Tango have a function to unlock this remote.
It's a time consuming function.I don't if it's work.
KeyDiy can emulate this remote , as klesk1986 said search in Smart section.

Cheers

Thanks I now see it.
A couple of questions if I may ask.

Once generated in Key DIY can T300 Programme it to vehicle ?

If customer just requires a non remote key can a pcf7936 be used ?

Thanks very much.

You can use pcf7936 but need precoding because blank chip won't work.
I have some precoded pcf7936, later i'll read precoding data and post here.
Colt and Smart Fourfour use same platform, for coding i've used AVDI.

Hi
Thanks.
I think I have some pcf7936 that I precoded with Effi software.
I should be good to go then.
Thanks all the same.
