Hey guys,
I have a problem with this unit,I can't read the procesor.I use UPA on usb ,I lifted modb and reset and I still can't read.
Dose anyone know how can I read this procesor?Or any method so I can read with a KKL interface?
It have the mask 4E28B.

I've connected everything for HC11E9 but dosen't want to boot.
I lifted from board reset and modb + 5v and no result.I changed the 16000 quartz with one of 8000 but still no result.Processor is good,it's working.I think there is a problem with the boot.
I thought that upa is defective but is not.For my hapiness ,upa is good.
Dose anyone erase a crash data like this from a airbag controler?

And need lift RX or TX, see pintest voltage.
P.S. This type airbag read/write via k-line.

I looked in the connecter and there wasen't any RX or TX.
On k-line which soft I need ? Do you have that soft?

Simply k-line adapter. WIN98 or DOS. Use connections from .pdf

You should read manual before trying to do something. Have to connect all wires (there is a picture in manual for all mcu's) to mcu pins, then you can test pin voltage with upa - if there is a problem, it will let you know and then you can read/write...

Lift pin 17,20 and 21 from mcu, put same value cristal on upa and you can read and writing as well if not connect a external surce and don?t forget change jump on UPA_programmer.

Problem solved with upa.The problem was modb pin - first problem and the second one is that upa dosen't know to chose the 16000 quartz.After I chose manualy the value of quartz ,upa started to read.

Welldone . As you see very simple to use UPA, but you need allways check value of cristal and connects part if is red collor you need to lift that pin.

i do everything that you say

Its must be same.
If you cant connect with original quartz from board replace it to 8MHz.

You may use quartz vith 2 pin but with two capicators 27pF to ground. See datasheet for motorola.

ok i can't read this procesor. i lift modA modB reset rxd txd and xtal extal leg and put there a 8mhz Quarz and put on a first leg on procesor a capacitators. not working please wrote step by step this proces :hmmmm2:

changing the crystal for 8...mhz
works 100% upa

I managed to read this MCU but I'm puzzled... The way it worked was just soldered all wires to board and not lifting any pin. I find it very strange.... I may need some help to clear crash data on this one.... Thanks everybody for helping me.
