Hello there,
Can some one help me out on this one?
I have a 2017 Honda Civic, I did reset the module using ETL.
Resetting went smooth. (no problems)
I initialized SWS with Maximus scanner from Matco. No problem , Light gone.
After that the vehicle had messages for the following systems.
Hill Assist
Electric Power Steering
VSA System.
Parking Brake system.
All with codes related to VSA system sensor calibration.
I did calibration on all sensors ( since it was the only option on the scanner. )
Now the vehicle is stuck on: Drive Carefully, Systems initializing...
Do you guys know how long will it take for the system to finish initializing or have any idea what the message refers to?
This is the second time that happens to me on this type of car, Last time costumer took the car and never found out if the system initialized properly or not.
Thanks For Reading.
Any Help will be much appreciated.

you need to clear original dump.. not write another dump .
or keep doing what your doing .. and charge for every Calibration.

I cleared the dump using ETL programmer. or at least i think that is what I did.
ETL programmer has only one option to clear. Can it be that is writing a virgin dump instead of just clearing crash data.
What ever the case maybe, The question is: has anyone came across the message that I mentioned: Drive Carefully, Systems initializing... Does anyone knows how long it will take for the systems to initialize and the message to go away?
As of today, message still there, i have drove for over 100 miles.

You need to select expert mode to clear same dump.
Also all you need to do is clear abs unit, and clear eps unit, and do abs programming if you go to special functions in the abs unit, and initialize all sensors. This happens to me all the time using simple mode on ETL programmer.

I noticed this happening too with my ETL spc560/mpc560 programmer.
i only used easy mode tho.
how should we do it in expert mode to clear these correctly ?

i suppose you don't have the original file saved , i found that sometimes etl does not erase/write everything when you use in simple mode, that been said , what is your part number ,I'll send you another file to try

You are correct. I did not save the file.!!!!!
I always save them when I use my carprog or other tools but never with ETL.
Here is my unit number: 77960-TBA-A030-M2
Please let me know if you have a file for this module.
Thank you all for the help.

will carprog be able to read/write 77960-TBA-A030-M2 for Honda/Civic2016-2017? I don't have any fancy programmer and need to clear crash data out of this specific module, what's the cheapest way to do this without investing in hundreds $$, I see a carprog set on ebay http://r.ebay.com/BmeIXT
will this be able to do the job?
I also read somewhere that Renesas_Flash_Programmer_Package_V30400_free can do this but I don't want to build a programmer type C for it eventhough have the schematics, anyway I can buy that on ebay alreay made? thanks for any help/advice

Anyone know how to do this module without having to relearn all the abs sensors and so it does not show all these warnings.
Hill Assist
Electric Power Steering
VSA System.
Parking Brake system
