Which Autel is the cheapest that can do SRS and calibrate opds seat sensors on newer cars especially Honda’s ?

I have launch x431 and always have problems with Honda’s SRS systems , on newer 2013+ Honda’s when trying to recalibrate OPS seat sensor launch says “no communication to ECU or vehicle not equipped” and on older 2011 or older it says “calibration ok” but srs light still on and ops failure code.

in past 2 weeks I had about 5 Honda’s that this happened.

Another guy with autel MaxiSYS pro ms908p came and fixed these hondas in few seconds

lol Strap-On is how they should be named.
slow, over priced, and very limited,

I heard scanners like Launch and Autel do better than the best Strap-On

From Launch scanners only ms908p can clear srs errors and recalibrate seat weight sensors and occupant sensors after post-accident ?

You mean Autel? lol

The software packages are the same for the MS906 and the MS908 Pro, the difference is the MS908 Pro has a scope built in and J2534 pass thru capabilities (and the price).

Yes, I meant Autel.

Just looking for cheapest Autel scanner that can do srs good.
don’t need any extras like edu coding and such. Just primarily care about SRS.

found this comparison chart of MaxiSYS series , looks like 906bt and maxisys can do one-specific , but not ms906, so that should include srs, but the chart doesn’t show which model number the “maxisys” that’s in the middle is.

http://www.obd2tool.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Maxisys-Comparison-Chart.jpg (http://www.obd2tool.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Maxisys-Comparison-Chart.jpg)

and also this:

“The MS906BT have all the capabilities of the maxisys mini ms905 as far as vehicle coverage and capabilities for codes, live data, actuation tests, adaptations and ECU coding .comparing the new MS906BT to the MS905 and they are similar in size but the MS906BT seems to have improvements such as faster processors, slightly larger screen, twice the battery capacity and better camera.”

If ms905 can do srs I’d go with ms905 since it’s cheaper.

From what I understand....

The 906 is connected by cable and is limited in functions, the 906BT is the same as the 908P without the J2534 or scope.

Why not contact the vendor and ask??????????????????????????????????????????????

Or if you are just concerned about Hondas, you could buy a cable and use one of the many HDS downloads available in the forums. I'm sure Drewtech makes one.

I checked it out , Honda HDS interface is aroun $1000 in this case better to get multi-make scanner like Autel that can do pretty much same things for honda plus other models.

Autel replied telling me thag the tool i meed is ms908p, $2000. Looks like they just wanna sell the more expensive one.

But I Found this webpage that shows all options of each Autel tool for the model you select:

I have Maxisys Pro with the J2534. Works perfectly. The mini should do the job.
