It has the new ultra small c66 but I suspect I can solder some points to the cluster to perform the mileage programming.

it can read/write by Stool/Mtool via Denso connection without opening the cluster

I think some tool with denso software can also do it...

This is via OBD2? A computer obd2 adapter and this software? Not familiar with the software, sorry.

Ok, I have made my research and Im confused, what adapter should I buy: ELS27 or ELM27?
