1996 BMW 5 series EWS ?

Hi , has anyone any info on this EWS unit taken from a 1996 BMW? The car has been turned into a track day car. Another locksmith is trying to make a key to start the vehicle.

that is transmitter receiver module

they are connected in this order coil > transmitter receiver module > ews

it is e39 model with ews1
ews is located behind glove box
