Hi to all......new here...:embarassed:
I've got Lexia 3 for 6 months now which works great.. :)
I got a 02 xsara picasso 1.6 petrol which blew the engine
ecu because the owner connected on his battery the wrong way around....:bawling:
I've got my hands on a second hand ecu+bsi which i'm going to fit tomorrow as these are matched .
I've got a new key which i'm going to code to the secondhand bsi after fitting the parts .
The vin number also came with the ecu/bsi,after talking to nice citroen parts storeperson who gave me the 4 digit pin code i should be sorted.

Now for the questions...
1)Can a (chinese) lexia 3 code keys...whats involved in it as i've never done it before...????
2)Do i go into replacment parts ...or bsi configuration...??

Thanks in advance....:embarassed:
Ron.

Hi. Enter bsi, enter programming, choose key programming; it will ask for the car pin code and only need to turn the key on and off. It's a simple process, just follow lexia instructions.

you need to check with other members, but i over head some bloke in the pub, something about you ONLY get 3 goes at key programming, otherwise it turns back into a pumkin and 6 white mouse or something, but i have no idea how to sort it out, apart from sending it to www.ecutesting.com (http://www.ecutesting.com) for the immboliser to be wiped, and charging the customer ?150+vat, oops!

Thanks for your help lads......got it sorted.... :D
So these chinese clones do work well....:)

1) i fitted secondhand ecu.
2) read and recorded bsi configuration
3)fitted secondhand bsi..changed aircon present to absent (only difference)
4)Got new keyblade cut and coded new key with lexia..I needed to input 03114 (Citroen code got from here...:top:) to change the bsi info and inter the tansponder code (got from a friendy citroen dealer.. :))...and bingo away she started... :)
I also had to change the radio vin code to match the doner bsi.
Should i have changed the vin number logged on the doner bsi back to its original.....??
Thanks again for your help ......Ron.... :)
