Hi,
Got a mates car here,
Astra G 1998
basically had a engine replacement, was a 1.6 petrol, now 1.4 petrol (well the engine code comes up as x14xe)
He has car pass for the immo, vin numbers match but cant code keys to the immo.

I scanned Immo and it has correct VIN
I scanned Engine it has different VIN (possibly from donor car)

Is there anyway i can recode the modules 2 work with each other using opcom???

Thankyou

Yes, you can.
1. You need to know PIN code of car and use OP-COM
2. Enter Body>Immobiliser II>Special Function>Reset Immobiliser.
3. Turn Ignition Off/On
4. Enter Body>Immobiliser II>Programming>Immobiliser Function>Immobiliser Installed>OK>Yes
5. Turn Ignition Off/On
6. Reprogram keys and you are done.

What about coding diesel pump, on some astra/vectra when u replace the pump, you also have to change pump ecu????

I. On Vectra C only (Y20DTH an Y22DTR - PSG16 pumps):
You need to know both pin codes (of car and pump).

1. ECU > Special Function > RESET ECU (enter Pin -from pump) > OK (ecu is now reset)
2. Ignition off/on
3. CIM > Programing > Programing (enter pin code - of car) > Immobiliser Function > ECU installed > OK.
4. Ignition off/on
5. Start the car (in this case you don't need to recode keys)

On Astra G only (Y20DTH an Y22DTR - PSG16 pumps):
Like in my 1st post.

When you say pincode of the pump, is that the car pass?
basically you need the pin from the pump the car came from and also the pin for the car you are using in?
thanx
