hello to all im busy with an audi a4 1.8t b7 2007 model as non start how the ecu was fried its part number is 8E0909518AQ BOSCH number 0261208524 however i removed both eeprom and flash from ecu and read both files ,,i managed to get a donor ecu Part number 8E0909518AT 0261208039 which i know is alil different but i was planning to reflash this donor ecu with orignal flash but after downloading the original ecu flash from here i compared it to my fried ecu flash both toatally different and currently my fault code on this present ecu is.... p1681 control module programming not finished .....so my plans is to rewrite this new flash to ecu can some1 please check the checksum before i write this file and will this procedure work regards

The B7 1.8T has a common error whereby the ECU will report a 'Programming not finished' error after having been read. The solution is to write back the file that was just read from the ecu.

File that you labeled as original: 8E0909557J SW: 371151 HW: 0261207977 Checksum: Not OK
File that you labeled as Audi_A4 etc: 8E0909518AQ SW: 372505 HW: 0261208524 Checksum: OK

I would try find an original file for the 8E0909518AT HW: 0261208039 spare ecu that you have. The HW number differs between the donor ecu and the flash file you uploaded, you can give it a go, just be ready with a bootmode setup if it doesn't work.

ok thank you all for helping i changed the bin file in the eeprom then i used the mpps with a charger connected it reprogrammed this ecu accordingly However just 1 issue now 1 fault code P1681 Control module programming not finished ..... so just to be on the safe side i read the ecu flash just to be sure no sectors were missing and then i compared it to the file i used both were perfect im thinkin maybe there is a fault with the eeprom bin
anyone any ideas grrrr my transmission came right on display lol

ok so i decided to bench my ecu with vcds and fvdi but what i did was use my fvdi to write my eeprom then i read fault codes ,,erase them ..read again and that fault code was gone so i noticed once i switched off the box voltage and powered the ecu up again the fault code ,,,Control module programming not finished ,,, came up again ...so i decieded to try another eeprom from another box and that fault neva showed up.. The eeprom file was at fault ...lol thank you all for your help regards
