1999 Punto sporting immo off help, beginner needs help! IAW 18fd 5z

I am trying to virginise the ecu. i have its eprom in hand, and have also purchased new eeproms to replace it. is the immo contained in the eeprom or the motorola? i was reading that the immo is editied around the 196 block, and take note of the 00 at it. any advice greatly appriciated on what to do next. i have also tried writing the modded hex and it says it failed at block 196, so i am doing it wrong somewhere!!!

I have read the 28 pin eeprom, not the processor. Is this what I have to read on the FD ecu? It's the same as a windbond 27c512

Thanks for your help. Which pins are required to read immo. Is it only on this 18fd ecu that the windbond eeprom doesn't work for immo off?
