Hello everyone

I trying to read with Xprog some motorola MCU HC12 and after reading the memory of the dump file is 2 MB. I thing it is strange because the memory of this chip is 128 Kb. So why happened this. I have try to write a memory on a chip after reading and the ECU didn't work more even before it was working good. I thing it is not write good because the real memory is 128 Kb not 2 Mb. Any idea for this

Choose HC912 eeprom , not flash.

Yes i know. With eeprom everything is ok. But them problem is with flash. So how can i do if i want to reprogramming the flash. Because as i said before if i try to write the flash the ecu didn't work.

You are not alone. I have the same situation with X-Prog and 3K91D. Just doing them with chinese Orange5.

2048 KB dump by Xprog is for supporting flexibility of HC12 dynamic address, there is nothing wrong !

Yes, i am using Chinese Orange5. Works very good. The HC912DG128A dump is 128kb as expected.
