The problem with the Siemens bit is that its in the Two Flash Chips mate .... I get the becker code from dump as 6513..if a four digit 65133 if a five... But the Rub is ...you need to enter the Seimens code first.... Sorry

I'm trying to decode a BE2582, already have the 24LC04B dump, but what flash dump do you need. The one from the M27C512?
Thanks

So far I wasn't able to get the siemens code, but for the becker code here is what i did:
on the BE2582 It seems like the becker code is stored in the 24LC04B EEPROM, to obtain a dump you have to remove the top of Nav Display, and remove the cassete player module, underneat you will find the chip.
Then you could remove and use a programmer to read the chip or like I did use a Basic Stamp interfacing with the eeprom without removing it from the board, there are various tutorials on how to communicate with and I2C serial eeprom like this, be carefull if doing this without removing the chip because the radio board sets the write protection pin to low, meaning that you could erase its contents by mistake. To connect to the chip simply use phone wires and carefully hook them to the desired pins.
When you get the HEX code into the debug window, just copy it to an hex editor and save it as a binary file, if succesful you will see the word becker in ascii in the HEX editor.

figured that the flash chips are in the cd module, not in the display. Anyway which flash dump is needed?
