my mate has been banned from the forza 3 storfront and auction house until the year 2029 UNBELIVABLE apparently for putting ganja leaves on his car is there anyway he can reverse this so he can use these game options thanks in advance

I can understand their prerogative to crack down on inappropriate images in their game, but if that story is true then that's taking it a bit too far, let's call it what it is it's a permanent ban for ganja leafs - it's especially overzealous considering the fact of what material it could have been.....Xbox Live seems to me like it's more trouble than it's worth when you consider the bans, the censorship and the fact you have to pay to play online on top of all this - surely there comes a time where one says enough is enough ?

I played tony hawk online on the ps2 for a while, thought i was pretty good playing single player racking up scores and then i got online and saw just how wrong i was :(

I didn't. Mind you I don't really play games online anyway, personally I think the whole thing is overrated for what it is but then that's just my own personal opinion of online play in general. As for XBL it just seems so troublesome - you're having to pay for one thing, then you have bans and DOS attacks or whatever they're called to contend with and this is before the typical quitters, purposeful laggers and map glitch cheats. Nah, more trouble than it's worth for me.

But if you think it's worth paying for and putting up with year on year then all the power to you, but for me it just is not worth it. That's one of many reasons why the PS3 suits me perfectly - won't get banned and it's free to play online and it's there if ever I want to play online, which isn't very often but Fifa 10 gets a play online now and then. Sports games (esp footy) are an exception for me.

I am said friend ( DR J GREEN XBL GAMER TAG ) i waited 2 yrs for this game nd was really lookin forward to it, it was the first game i`ve ever pre orderd, and now i wish i never. Just buy a PS3 it's free to play online and you won't get banned, plus Gran Turismo 5 is out in March and will sort yout Forza problems out good and proper! lol

Then either complain to M$, file for legal action or boycott them totally.....bitching about it isn't going to resolve things though it might make you feel better but clearly it doesn't. So do something about it. Ring Watchdog or something, demand your xbl subs back or to see out the year, they can't be allowed to get away with banning you and not giving you the terms of service you paid for and yet not give you any form of refund. That's ridiculous especially when you haven't really done anything wrong and you'd be stupid letting them get away with it without a fight considering the bollocks that people try to do Sony for. But let's be realistic, you're just going to write it off and go out and buy another 360 aren't you.....Which is playing directly into their hands.

Hes not been banned from Xbox Live, hes been banned from Take10 servers fr breach of their TOS and EULA, the same could have happened on any platform.
All any of this means is that he cant access the auction house or storefront of a single game that he broke the contract in.

I haven't been banned, but I have had my vinyls placed under review, and then deleted for expressing an opinion on an economic system of government. So, I made a vinyl that stated I could not express my opinion on the issue, but I could draw nearly nude pics of women all day long. That got taken down immediately. So I wrote another that simply said..."The problem with censorship is...(then it had two scribbles as if words had been blocked out). gone as well. I am still trying to figure out how I violated the TOS in Forza. Pretty ironic that the industry as a whole cries foul play and cencorship when legislators try and get involved in their business. I take it a moderator in the storefront simply disagreed with my opinion, and then singled me out. I am boycotting on principle. I have made a few clean humored bumper stickers with words like poo or poop, and they were deleted. Maybe it means something else in a different culture. But really? I mean, the "Highest Rated" and "Top Downloaded" categories has a plethora of offensive pics of girls displayed in a provocative manner...things I would be appalled if my 4 year old son saw. But my opinion, which was very mild at that... They are going way too far...Keep your game, I will vote with my money in the future!

I been banned for the money glitch, thanks to turd 10's crap code. I fired off a rant using F and maybe C words telling them to leave users games alone, and then about a year later i went back to turd 10 and money glitched on another account "48 HOUR JOB" no ban. Turd 10 has had a lot of my money all downloads and full priced game ect so when they fack with peoples games it's big bro, very very wrong, remember C64 and the rest used to be fun cheating, finding glitchs and ways to make easy quick money/XP by playing the game to death ect, whats next ban for pink paint job on ferrari cars?. Plus i got 14 day bans for "www.thepiratebay.org" "turd 10" my logo and some others LOL... Also i put turd 10 all over my cars that i race badly online HO HO HO...:manuscarf:
