Volvo V70 D5 kess wakeup error

Car is -07, no id, no read, says wakeup error. Is listed on ksuite for kess

I think problem is solved, my son called about the problem and I googled about the bosch number, its edc 16c31, need to connect kline, so universal cable and 2mm drillrod or some other suitable to pin 43 should do the trick.

yeah bdm.... must drill ecu. To good read full by obd terminal/uhds only xc90 after 2007y. Rest this ecu only k-line and 12.5v stable and works with kess on k-line

Ty for the info, ksuite was claiming its edc15 so son was confused and didn't think about the opportunity of edc16 and kline not connected problem.

but You have idea about edc15 in volvo? he have only one version this ecu but in this cars you have 3 version ecu and in 90% you not read kess this ecu....

So i have heard, need to buy more hw anyway. IO terminal is one potential tool. Some Polish shop had very affordable prices for IO sims

this ecu is easy to open and turn PCB on second side, 20min job with take ecu out from car.
