VW golf 1 starts then dies

Hi guys have a VW golf 1 with carburetor system someone told me to replace this part in pic coz car wasnt starting was just cranking and car start then dies. It gives me this error code when scanning the immo - 01177 engine control unit Unauthorised intermittent.

Mate,its just coil amplfire ,just replace it ,thats all.

have you checked fuel pressure ? come it to carburetor when engine crank ? and try clean carburetor

No ecu only immo box, with 01177 error code - engine control unit unaurthorised
