hi, i have a 2017 subaru module with part # 98221 CA170 its a Renasas R5F61725 h8sx/1725. can someone help me get the h8sx clear file. im using carprorool to program but he doesnt have this part # listed. thank you

Shit, wait!!

Normally I might recommend just trying another file but it just screwed me last winter. Had a similar situation with 2017 impreza, CPT didn't have the correct # but in the past I was able to write other file to it instead and work fine.
But the Subaru didn't work, had module fault errors, month later I was able to find someone willing to flash it with another tool that had the file (ETL) otherwise I'd have had to wait 6 months for CPT to finally add the file to their database.

Bottom line is you can still read this mcu via JTAG. More difficult yes but guaranteed not to mess up module. One you have read the file you just send them the file and they will clear crash for you and send it back

or lift the mcu off the board and read with reneprog (hardcore)
