Hi all,
I was just about to load up the new iPlayer channel, but it wants me to update the system. I'm not so keen to do that as I have everything set up and working rather nicely...
Any ideas?

You have 2 options
update and resoft mod (like I did), or
download the updated shop and related IOS using NUS Downloader or WiiSCU

Thanks for the reply. I'm tempted to try the first option. Which method did you use for softmodding 4.2? Its so long since I did mine, I've not followed the softmodding threads - a point in the best direction would be most appreciated.

thanks again. I got scared of updating, so I got NUS downloader and got the IOS61 and Shopping channel WADS and then installed them. iPlayer is working perfectly and it took less than10 minutes. - highly recommended
