Edc16c7 did only id and that had only sw number? Any ideas? Car is -09 registered 140hp

No one have had problems with this ecu? Is it possible it has been allready tuned with some noread file?

Use KTAG or BDM100 and read it at bench.

Hello, With KESS v2 you can do that. Problem with reading or writing is because interface works too slowly. That's why you just have to choose Speed to "slow". I did that a few days ago and it works perfectly. Read or write takes a little longer, but 100% works. Please click on "Thank you". Greeting

Thanks, had another today, same problem, changed to minimum speed and it did read it, took over 20mins!

ive just encountered same issue! im on kess 4.036 clone, trid change sped to slow but it still did the same... maybe time for update to new hardware 5.028?

I do these ones with Mpps18, but first always try with kessv2, if cannot read, then with mpps.

I use Kess 5.017 with read and write set to minimum

In 09 start install edc17 ecus! Read ID in check what ecu is there.
