Excelent controler, I have a friend with sports device controler but dont inertia dyno, hes dyno is magnetic brake dyno he uses a telma retarder and sports device controler, i think its a good idea

I have a controller from sportdevice for a selfmade inertia bike dyno since 1 1/2 year.
It works good!
Next step would be a dyno with magnetic brake.

Do you can use a Telma magnetic brake, from some bus or trucks

Brake is better but dont miraculous, only for measurement inertia can do the job, for fine-tuning brake is better
