Looking at trying a ATTENUATOR as i have a 96% signal and getting some pixellating and unable to pick up a couple of channels.
My question is what strength signal is best as i see you can buy 3/6/9/and 20db ones and also a adjustable one

I have a 0-20db Variable.
This has sorted my problems before and a few other members.
I reccomend you get the variable.
Pick one up on ebay from less than ?7

Not really.
Thats why i got the variable.
I had probs with only a few channels and found that i had to change the strength between the channels so i have marked on the attenuator where the best signals are so i can just flick back and forward.

ok thanks
this must be an issue with BM boxes as my original picks up with good picture and also a local friend has a eurovox and has no issues

All tuners in the different boxes vary. Also the signal in areas etc.
The attenuator will sort that out. Small price to pay as a lot of people go buy the signal booster first.
Freezing of channels can be caused with too much signal strength as well.
This was the issue i had.
