ktag EU CLONE help edc16c34

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong i'm trying to read ecu edc16c34 with kag + bdm adapter . i'm Using adapter mpc5xx. I lower the pins down on to the read gate and i just get an error message saying communication error.


I've set my dc power supply to 13v but amp is showing 0.06.


Does the ecu need powering to do bdm read? because ktag not show me any instructions for adding power to it.


Also i'm using fam 60 it says for edc16c34-2.20 is this correct, as the images are not the exact same look as this ecu here.


Please help very confused what im doing wrong.


update now its saying : hardware configuration not supported


amp on my dc supply never show higher then 0.06






ive noticed when i click fam 60 its shows me hardware 1 - 2 - 3 and none of them are looking the exact same in the pictures as this one . its skoda octovia 2010 and im selecting 2008

Easy job with kess

Just backup injectors coding just in case.

Monday did C4 1.6 hdi with edc16c34, no problem at all.

Injector codes remains untouched ;)

Put ecu back in car and check if start...

First of all which ktag version are you using? Can you post pictures of the ecu board and label?

I use ktag without any problems on these ecus.

I think most badly ktag also can read write it ecu easly..
Connect ecu via car.
If it start, reply this post. We will help. Its so easy
