Hi mates,
I have strange problem going on.
Costumer of mine asked me to adapt his used but virginised steering lock module. He had notorius problems with old one so bought virgin on ebay. I extracted PIN code from ECM and now its funny thing. PIN lets me access Security-16 in Engine controller but it doesn't let me access Security-16 in Immo-25 (shows Error 22) with old (still working) ELV. How is that possible? Engine starts and runs OK. I tried everything. With ignition On and Off, I checked for Lock times its all zeros. PIN from ECM doesn't work with new ELV connected either. Is it possible to be 2 different PINs in those 2 controllers? Is there chance to extract PIN from Comfort Module?

Can anyone help me?

maybe ECU is changed in the past and it's immo off, you can read pin from comfort with avdi or fvdi

I´m not sure, but I believe you have to use Login (Coding 2, Function 11). I always forget that and just try both. I cant believe, that anybody can virginze a used ELV with ELMOS micro. Or is the used ELV with 908 Micro? Why buy used ELV? I always buy new from dealer for nearly 90 Euro. And with realy new virgin ELV you can switch on ignition one time. In ths ignition cycle I alway adapt the ELV. Never had problems. You can check ELV status (new or used) in measuring blocks. I believe you even can read out VIN from ELV. Not sure, measuring block 82 I believe.

Greets MR...

PS: You can read eeprom (95320 I believe) from comfort module. Then I or anybody can tell you the login.
