Hi,everyone,need assistance and advice please,got a bmw e90 320d with a faulty dde7 bosch number 0281013501,bit difficult to get but got a newer model 0281015552, im using kess .can i read infos and write in the good dde.thanks

No, you can not clone an edc16 to an edc17. But you can use all bosch numbers in picture.

Sorry for tge late reply,thank you for the information,i will check for any of the corresponding numbers,can u advise again,once i get the dme,whats the next procedure,to make it work.

get a used dde, read ISN, write that isn to cas, start a vehicle.

Hi,i currently dont have any tool to read and write isn,can u kindly recommend a tool to buy, i do have the diagnostic one the inpa,i dont think tht will work.thanks again

read DDE on a bench with any chip tuning tool like ktag or similar, post dump here, may be somebody will get you ISN from dump.
