View Full Version : KESS V2 GENERIC ERROR EDC17C64

Hi, i receive this "Generic error" when i try to write a map to EDC17C64? Do anyone else had this problem? The Kess version is 2.47 and the FW is 5.017 - EU Clone.

The problem appears when i choose the map before writing. Error only appears on EDC17C64, on anything else its working. Can someone there help?

I tried to reinstall, tried on another Laptop and also with version 2.23. The same problem only with EDC17C64.

Read ecu with bootmode you can do this with ktag. Not good idea to do this with clone. But it must work

I dont have K-Tag. :/ Can the problem be in the Kess?

Jep possible,

I don't know if 2.47 work, i do this eecu with clone many times with Ksuite V2.23 5.017, maybe you can downgrade and try again

Thanks for helping. I tried also with version 2.23 but same error.

Can someone send me correct DLL files? Thanks.

This ECU doing with bootmode on KTAG, but with BITBOX on OBD

open the kess box .. find sdcard, open slot and remove sdcard for a few seconds .. after insert sdcard and try if it works ..

People, all of you have given advise
to remove,insert SD card, to re-instal Ksuite,to change OBD cable, to re-solder all element of PCB. All will be loose of time.

This Kess is clone , you expect to work as genuine( not possible)
