Hello all,
Could someone tell me if replacing the battery in my Vauxhall keyfob will have any detrimental effect on anything like imobilisers or the like??
Is it simply a case of open the thing up and stick a new one in??

TIA

Changing the battery is straightforward, but careful not to loose the chip in the fob.I lost mine and it was a nightmare.

just change it m8 ,there shouldnt be any probs ,
but if you do when youve put the new battery in the sit in your car and turn the ignition lights on then press the lock button on your fob,
the doors should lock then unlock ,
thats it m8 your fob is recoded to your car
