If 2015 is from another car and not divorced, you’ll need a code from radio to reset it before pairing

Which way it stores info about activated anti-theft protection?

Yes, but how to pair NCDC with CID if NCDC from another car, without pin and id I.D. OK state?
I have GM MDI with Tech2Win. Or SPS wia GD2S is needed?

Simple, NCDC can unregister unlike CD30 which needs help... a child can do this...

NCDC can unregister unlike CD30 which needs help...

Nobody can know everything, I think.
I don't have OVC 2002-2004 (or another car of these MY) to investigate all features.
I'm asking about it because I had some cases when NCDC became "unmarried" after battery was disconnected for a long time.
NCDC can be divorced by power outage? o_O

Shit sometimes happens. Today's my case was resolved by changing eeprom 24c16 to another one (also it was no sound and programming of code index and configuration was endes with fault) and then activating anti-theft protection using code from display.

So, if you can help to divorce "foreign" NCDC simply, share the solution, e.g. in PM.
Thnx

Actually, you can pair any unmarried display with radio using code from display.
But radio should be in delivery state.

Post dump from display (93c56) and you'll receive code.

Found one solution to reset - press and hold CLEAR for 6+ secconds, but can' check if it works

You are confusing this with CD30/CD40 .. radio can be paired in any state using Full tools.

Did you get conformation on Tech2 that the display was in delivery state? If so, put it back to delivery state and use the CD code to pair on Tech2.

It is not possible to manufacture the code yourself in the display eeprom and try to use that code for pairing / unpairing because the unique pairing data in the radio flash wont match up.

So Tech2 is showing wait timer active if you've tried more than 2 codes (confirming code was wrong)? And you've checked for sure that it is this code 0217 in the cd? If this is the code that is stored, I cant understand why Tech2 won't accept it :hmmmm:

Because EHU is already activated.

Yes but as long as he is using a proper Tech2 he can deactivate it using the code inside the radio - as long as either the display is in delivery mode (already reset) or the radio and display are already paired together (not in this case). I'm curious as to where the 0217 code has come from.

This is very hard algo and difficult to keep resoldering flashes for experiments. I burned 2 similar units over the years - but they were scrap anyway.

Get code first from c64 - if it was logged (sometimes it is, sometimes not) then use Tech2 to make experiments and reread flash after each time to learn location in flash. It is tough work though..... :ambivalence:

I have new case - virgin radio NCDC2013, virgin display and CDC from another NCDC2013 (original is damaged).
Diagnostics data says they all in delivery state.
I tried to pair using code 4435, then I received error "Activation wasn't successfull" and "Can Bus protected in another car".
Activation became successful only after I download dump from original CDC.

So, CDC has not only code but also some pairing data to work with radio, as I understand

Yes the CDC does contain pairing data mate.

This is "TB" version of cd changer, so code is directly in front of the pairing data - not in usual place of "TA" version. You notice that there is no FF FF after usual code address and values A9 3A (4435)?
