That code is for a magnetti 3 plug ecu.
Immo killer doesnt clear the immo it just overwrites it with a map off a 1.1 thats got immo off, this ecu ran various engines.. same thing different map.

Hello, I've just registered. I came across this site while googling IAW-48P2.38 and I see some helpful guys are posting ther ECU dumps here.
My 206 GTI 16v 2.0 from 2001 has an intermittent starting problem that my pug dealer traced to the cable harness (expensive replacement!). Sometimes it fais to start though it cranks. With PP2000 I read the ECU errors and there was someting related to not receiving the key code because of some ECU input shorted. Pulling out the ECU and wobbling the connector cables usually helps the problem and the car starts normally.
I thought that instead of a costly replacement of the harness I'd rather bypass the immobilizer, then it wouldn't matter whether the input is shorted or not.
I have no ability to access my ECU***347; memory contents, so before overwriting my ECU with PP2000 I wonder if all ECUs with ref. nr. IAW48P2.38 carry a software able to run my engine, then I could use the file posted by youk as a back-up in case anything goes wrong with reprogramming.
