2005 Touareg Key Copying Fault

Hiya. Tried to copy a 2005 tdi Touareg key today using Cn900 Mini and also KDX2 both using Cn3 chips. Both times reports success but the car says IMMOBIL ACTIVE when trying to use the key. I'm using a non Remote Key. Can anyone tell me what the issue is please? :)

Should do it. Read pin from ECU and try program key with just pin. Touareg till 2006 year does not need CS precoded transponder.

Your copy doesnt work cause this car will never start if you copy on cn3, tpx4 etc. maybe TK60 but not sure.

we can clone id46 touareg at cn3 for sure. tested by me.

I clone 1 time with CN3 year ago, doesn't work. Engine start 1s and die.

Sure cut new key and try to clone. Car is Cayenne 2005.

It works for sure on tpx4. But you'll get a message that battery in key is empty.

Seems hit and miss. I tried by myself and not work. In 'best' situation the steering lock was unlocking with 3 seconds delay after putting the key, car started and engine stopped after 1 second.

ISK change after every start engine , in pcf 7946 process it's OK but not in CN3 ....

The result is simple , cloning is impossible ! Only programming ....

don't want comment whose experience but I DID COPY AT CN3 AND WORKING. at tk60 also.
