Hi,

i need an eeprom dump from a GID display from an Astra H. But should be from a GID type BM Part number: 13275953 (Siemens VDO)

From this display:

564250

564251

Someone can share a eeprmom dump? (chip 93c66) KP and SE GIDs not valid.

Thanks so much!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upgrade OK to 3 Lines:
KP in HW 5.20 Tested by me
SE in HW 5.20 Tested by bank

Vins for upgrade in SPS:
W0L0AHL35A2092407 > Valid
W0L0AHL6795006621

In the eeprom, edit:

replace 00C80F7B (for KP GIDS) with 00CA9331 (two times)
and KPKP to BMBM

replace 00C916CA (for SE GIDS) with 00CA9331 (two times)
and SESE to BMBM

Thanks exe123 for this info!

hi!

I need the eeprom from a BM type for testing with GlobalTIS the SPS (Service Programming System)

I cant find a BM GID (cheap) to buy them and test.

You just need to modify partnumber and ident inside your dump and use SPS with the correct VIN to update.

replace 00C80F7B with 00CA9331 (two times)
and KPKP to BMBM

I think you'll receive something like that:

Tested and works fine on KP. SPS just checks partnumber and ident from eeprom of VDO GID

I was trying to update KP, SE, AT, BG without success :(
I think VIN also is needed.
I'll try again...

Of course you will need correct VIN. Search on ebay for partnumber of BM display. Most german parts vendors will write also VIN of the scraped car.

Upgrade to GD59 doesn't work for me but problem with old hardware is solved.
Both KP and SE are upgraded.
0 Consumption shows 30+L/100 for both displays, but may be it's need to drive some distance to calculate correct consumption

upgraded the HW 3.0 to gd83 successfully?
then, the 0 Consumption, works fine after drive some ditance? or have not you tried it?

Hello, 2 or 3 line information in eeprom is stored ?

The eeprom only store Carpass or delivery state, code index, vin number, product number, alpha code, the variant configuration and some more config.
for the screen shows two or three lines, depends of the firmware version. (Not stored in the eeprom 93c66 is in another chip of the gid)

It's easier to do with GlobalTis via ODB than by desoldering flash

You can also do manually by updating external flash and internal flash of ST10 MCU. But I doubt somebody will share the files.

It's not a problem to share files.
There is a some difficulty with the flash desoldering (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/630920-Opel-Vectra-C-3-line-CID-dump?p=3164454&viewfull=1#post3164454) and reading the dump

external flash is no problem. ST10 you will fail!
