i have this one. i don`t remember where i buying. work ok.

if you connect 12V to pin 1 in red socket (15pin) then second display go on and show time and temperature.

You can build an emulator for the Renault Scenic II dash by yourself and for little money.

sure when i was working on these i bought a cheap emulator from ecu tools china when they were going for about 15 pounds wasnt very expensive and still works:)

Hi evss,

you're right - just looked at ebay. The cheapest are available for 20 pounds. However, the prices also go up to over 120€.

With this project, my main concern was not the price but more the educational part which was fun.
This is probably due to my open source software and ham radio background in which I grew up :fat:.

On the other hand - if you allready have an arduino laying around... all you need is the can-module which costs 3-6€.

By setting this up you are free to send whatever can-messages you like - it would also be possible to ad support for other dashes, if you have the corresponding can-codes.
