Hello I have a mini cooper s 1.6l I am replacing ecu and trying to swap immo data , I can not read 29f400 with none of my tools at the moment , if I swap the chip to my new used ecu will it work ?

i am out of time car need to be gone tomorrow so either i am doing it or let it go so you think are chances that i will damage it or that will not work? and if it dose not if i solder it back to original ecu will it work again ?

I would skip this job without backup bcose my time are a valuable stuff. And i don't have too much leftover hair :D

Also new ecu £1000 we tried at mhm to get used one was like £300,?same cost as orginal to be repaired
