Hi Guys,

I've found a nice video on disassembling the cluster:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8mpZQl0Z-c

But wanted to know once needles removed how you refit them? Do you refit in same position removed? Before i break or place in wrong position thought i would ask the question?

I need to read M35080 to extract PIN from old cluster and new cluster i will be getting in a few days.

Kind Regards,

Thanks guys for your responses I've put it back together and when powering on bench I'm getting dashes... I've resoldered chip back on twice now...

I tried in circuit but didn't work so removed and read.

I didn't change dump I only read with upa to extract pin?

Check your LCD cable. It is easy to break it

I did try moving it but nothing... I would have thought the trip would be all 0000 but I have dashes...

When I was testing on bench when I first powered on it was set to a high voltage 20v plus...
Think I may have fried something then... Any way to repair?

Might be a stupid question but what s/w are you using to program chip? 1st line needs to be erased first.
